Judge quashes Lindsay Lohan arrest warrant

A judge quashed an arrest warrant for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan on Monday - and her lawyer called it a case of "much ado about nothing."

Judge Marsha Revel said she issued the warrant after getting a letter from a court-ordered alcohol education program showing an "indication of some noncompliance."

But "there's no indication of any dirty tests," the judge noted.



Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said she straightened out the problem in a meeting in the judge's chamber.

"(Lindsay) had been in one program for a long time, had done very well in that program, left that program to go to another ...3 and at that other program there were just personality issues," she said. "It was much ado about nothing."

Holley told the judge that Lohan was in a new program in Glendale, Ca. A new progress report is due by April 3.

The arrest warrant resulted from a problem with the 18-month alcohol education program Lohan was ordered to complete after pleading guilty to drunken driving and cocaine charges from two arrests in 2007.

An intoxicated Lohan crashed a Mercedes-Benz into a tree in Beverly Hills in May 2007. She racked up another drunken-driving arrest two months later after chasing her former assistant's mother in a vehicle.

Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail and was sentenced to three years of probation.

Meanwhile, the starlet's personal life has been dramatic as ever. Police were called to the Hollywood Hills home of Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson Saturday after a window was smashed during an alleged argument between the couple.

Lindsay Lohan denies rumors of break-up

The 22-year-old actress - whose relationship with the 31-year-old DJ has been rumored to be on the rocks for the past month - is said to be finding it hard to come to terms with the split.



A source said: "Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it."

It has also been reported Lindsay has been spending more time with new pal Sean Penn following the split, according to the New York Post newspaper.

Following rumors earlier this month the couple had ended their relationship, Lindsay insisted the reports were "gross".

She said: "We didn't break up. No. People need to stop creating drama, it's gross."




The "Mean Girls" star also took to her MySpace blog to further prove the story was false.

In a post entitled "Rumors", Lindsay wrote: "Little piece of TRUE information - we did not break up.

"Get your stories straight please. It's really annoying to have all of your friends emailing you saying, I saw, I read, etc... NOT TRUE."

Lindsay and Samantha were reported to have had a furious row on New Year's Eve, which led to the actress walking out on the DJ.

We're just catching up on this, but apparently Lindsay Lohan has the occasional fat day. Huh. Maybe the stars really are like us!

Yeah, so when Linds is feeling "heavy thighed" she likes to throw on a pair of $100 leggings and a big sweater. How real. Except for a couple of things...

We feel compelled to point out that:

a) Lindsay has been so skinny in the past few years that she is subject of constant rumors about either anorexia/drug abuse,

b) she's all legs -- look at her red carpet pix! and

c) loose sweaters and leggings don't camouflage anything!

Seriously, if you have a big caboose and/or jiggly saddlebags, a pair of structured jeans and a fitted -- but not tight -- top looks a million times better than leggings.



Look, the only people who can get away with that "casual dancer" look are dancers, or people built like dancers: leggy, bulimic and scrawny. Lindsay should be grateful she has the metabolism, or discipline, or whatever it is that keeps her from putting on a bunch of booze weight.



But you know, sorry to hear she feels fat.
